This one-day seminar is designed to assist church leaders to maximize their financial potential for church budget support. It has been offered across Canada with representatives from over 3500 churches attending. It has also been sponsored by five leading denominations as a national seminar, has been sponsored by Districts, Presbyteries and Dioceses from Halifax to Victoria as well as by numerous individual churches.
The introduction to the seminar is a presentation of the ‘7 Myths of Church Fundraising’. These ‘myths’ or assumptions often limit churches in their ability to generate the sufficient money need to support their ministry.
The major part of the seminar is the presentation of sixteen ways churches can increase their potential for giving. When churches develop a proactive stewardship process, based on these issues covered, it is amazing the increase that can be achieved in budget support.
