Ben Harder

Ben’s initial ministry, following his graduation, was in pastoral ministry in the Winnipeg area. Having an interest however in Christian College education, Ben joined the faculty of Providence College and Seminary where, over a period of 18 years, he taught in the field of Church History and Historical Theology. In the last ten of those years, Ben also was involved in institutional fundraising as the VP of Development.
After a brief tenure as the Canadian Director of the Haggai Institute, based in Atlanta, Georgia, Ben took over the ministry of Foothills Christian College, an undergraduate college of ministry training. After five years as President, Ben left the College and founded Harder & Associates, a Christian company which helps churches and para-church organizations raise money for their capital projects.
Since its founding in 1986, Ben has personally worked with over 250 churches and para-church organizations across Canada and the US. In addition to this consulting work, Ben has conducted two seminars for church leaders. “16 Ways to Increase Giving in Your Church” is for church leaders in the area of budget support. This seminar has been sponsored by five leading denominations across Canada and has been conducted in over 120 regions across Canada. The other seminar, “Capital Project Workshop” is conducted for church leaders in the area of capital projects.
