David Belsey, Western Consultant, Harder & Associates

David Belsey, Western Consultant and Director of the Regional Office in Calgary, Alberta, has been involved in the fundraising sector since the late 80’s.  Following his initial ministry as Pastor of numerous churches, David received his doctor’s degree from Fuller Seminary in the area of strategic planning and resource development, an education taken to assist churches in administration and resources achieved. 

After his education, David was Administrator of two churches which conducted capital campaigns for expansion and relocation, campaigns for which he provided the church leadership.  David was also involved in a campaign, conducted by Harder & Associates, in the church he and his wife attended in Calgary, Alberta which eventually raised over 4.2M. In addition to church ministry, David also ran a business, and was the VP of Development in two Christian Colleges.

David’s church ministry and his fundraising in the institutional context has given him very significant experience in the overall field of fundraising, both on the church and institutional side.
